Sit Pretty for High Tea

Langham Hotels claims to have served the first afternoon tea service at its London outpost more than 140 years ago. The tradition lives on at the Langham Pasadena, where channeling British royalty is encouraged between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturdays ($46). Sip a cup of Ceylon Cinnamon, and nibble on treats that include finger sandwiches, warm scones with clotted cream, and macarons. Imagine you’re in the English countryside at the nearby Huntington Library, Art Collections, and Botanical Gardens, which is open until 4:30 p.m. on Saturdays ($25).
