L.A. Hotspot Craig’s and Illesteva Team Up for a Limited-Edition Collaboration

It was a match made in heaven when the iconic Los Angeles restaurant Craig’s, equally known for its clubby atmosphere as its celebrity clientele, came together with Illesteva for an exclusive collaboration. The “of the moment” designer sunglass company has built up quite a reputation for itself among Hollywood’s elite counting Lady Gaga, Kanye West, Kate Moss, and many A-Listers as fans of the handmade Italian glasses.

“I’m a longtime fan of Illesteva, and when they reached out to me with the idea of a collaboration, I knew that it was something that I wanted to make happen,” said Craig Susser, founder of Craig’s Los Angeles. 

The frames are inspired by L.A.’s old school restaurant scene— a throwback to a time when Hollywood was glamorous, you dressed for dinner, and martinis were served neat. Handcrafted in Italy the shades feature a classic yet fashionable silhouette reminiscent of the restaurant’s interior, timeless and always in style. “When choosing shape and materials, we wanted to reflect the timeless, classic feeling you get when you walk into Craig’s,” he said. In true Craig Susser style, the frames will be as limited as the seating in his WeHo hotspot launching in select Illesteva stores and online Tuesday January 18th.
