ASK CHRIS PICK: West Hollywood breaks the bottle of champagne over the bow of its new library this month with tours, readings, an auction, and live entertainment throughout the complex. Designed by Johnson Favaro, the building is a floating mass of limestone plaster in the spirit of Le Corbusier and more than eight times larger than the 1959 Edward Fickett library it replaces.
