Sotto Wine Dinner
November 11, 2012 @ 7:00 PM - 12:00 AM
The controversial wines of Frank Cornelissen are paired with a menu of Sicilian dishes. Why controversial? (And why Sicily?) Cornelissen’s wines, made on the slopes of Sicily’s Mount Etna, are completely unsulphured and unfiltered, meaning there are all kinds of nasty bits floating around inside. Also, they smell a little weird. But despite these oddities, the wines are considered by many to be among the best in the world. Come taste natural winemaking in its purest expression. On hand with extra information is local wine expert and Los Angeles magazine wine columnist Lou Amdur. Admission is $139 per person. More information.
