With striking imagery that has burrowed into the dark corners of the public’s psyche for the past century, F.W. Murnau’s 1922 silent classic is as immortal as its iconic antagonist. Just in time for Halloween, LA Opera presents Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror, featuring a live chamber orchestra performing a new score by Artist in Residence Matthew Aucoin.
Performances will take place at the meticulously restored Theatre at Ace Hotel, a 1927 Spanish Gothic movie palace in the heart of downtown.
