This weekend, Sixth Street in Koreatown from Normandie Avenue to Vermont Avenue will be shut down to make room for food vendors, pop-up stores, carnival games, and more at the inaugural Halloween Food Festival, presented by the KTOWN Night Market and Councilman Herb Wesson’s office of the City of Los Angeles, Council District 10.
From 7 p.m. Friday through early Monday Morning, the street will be home to restaurants such as Eight Korean BBQ, Ramen Burger, and IOTA Brew Café, as well as establishments from the greater Los Angeles area, including Shinsengumi, Swirl Potato, Mama Musubi, and more. There’s also a food truck lineup has been curated by the Seoul Sausage crew as well as carnival games, live entertainment, art displays and pop-up shops. The first 500 guests in costume will receive free gift bags. Tickets are $3 in advance, $5 at the door, and the food is pay-as-you-go.
