How Dry: A Drought Awareness Bash at Greenbar Distillery
November 2, 2014 @ 4:30 PM - 7:00 PM
$37.50Event Navigation
Who says you can’t throw a drought party? Master mixologist Matthew Biancaniello will be mixing drinks at downtown’s Greenbar Craft Distillery this Sunday as part of a cocktail party with purpose. A donation of $37.50 entitles you to a signature Biancaniello beverage as well as bites from chefs Bruce Kalman (Union), Robbie Arnold-Star (Belcampo Meat Co.), Daniel Mattern and Roxana Jullapat (Cooks County), Rose Lawrence (Red Bread), Valerie Gordon (Valerie Confections), and Javier Lopez (Cliffs Edge). Each dish will be made using an edible native California plant as an ingredient, curated by the Theodore Payne Foundation. All proceeds will benefit the California Certified Organic Farmers Foundation’s Brichmont Hardship Assistance Fund, which helps support organic operations that have experienced drought and other natural disasters. The event is 21 and over.
