Chef Bernhard Mairinger Pops Up at Silaa Thai

Ever since BierBeisl closed its doors in Beverly Hills (the plan is to move farther west), we’ve had to get our Austrian fix elsewhere. On Friday that place is Silaa Thai, where Bierbeisl’s onetime chef Bernhard Mairinger will be popping up, serving a four-course menu of traditional Austrian dishes such as weiner schnitzel, short rib gulash, cured ocean trout with baby heirloom beets, and more. Side note: The night before the pop-up Mairinger will be serving Austrian versions of the Dodger Dog (it comes on pretzel bread) to Dugout Club ticket holders.
