Adam Granduciel and Kurt Vile founded The War on Drugs in Philadelphia in 2003. Vile has gone solo and Granduciel has continued with the band through several lineup changes. Today he’s joined by bassist Dave Hartley, drummer Steven Urgo, and Robbie Bennett on keys. Their most recent album, Lost In The Dream, came out in March 2014.
