September 28, 2014 @ 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Event Navigation
La Feria de los Moles—the country’s largest (really!) annual Mexican Food Festival—is returning to the cobblestone corridors of Los Angeles’ historic Olvera Street Plaza on September 28. The all-day cultural event features live music, folk dances, and focuses on, you guessed it, mole: a fragrant, pre-colonial Mexican sauce that is regionally specific and whose roots are often traced back to Puebla. Elenita’s Mole, Moles Tepatlaxco, El Valle Oaxaqueno, Juquila Restaurant are a few of the participants among a host of other mole makers and sweet shops, including Mr. Churro. Admission is free, bring cash for food.
