Welcome to our new (hopefully) weekly feature, where we spot some of the most impressive, double-take-inducing cars seen during the week. We’re not talking about expensive Beemers that blend into the background; we mean cars that showcase some fun, some style, some panache. Hopefully, these cars will help you glide toward Friday. This beauty caught our eye as we crossed Ashton Street. Not only do we have a soft-spot for mustangs — and convertibles — but this baby was in pristine condition. The driver also had an awesome afro and didn’t mind us snapping a pic.
MINI Coopers may not be as cool as they were a decade ago, but a shiny black one with a death-proof logo on the hood is hipper than Quentin Tarantino at an Echo Park record shop. Love.
Crossing Wilshire Boulevard is a pleasure when you have a gorgeous thing like this to stare at. The grabber blue color, first bestowed upon Mustangs in 1969, was magnificent.
