The Bird and the Bee’s “Los Angeles” Video Reminds Us Why We Live Here

Cementing their status as a quintessential L.A. band, the Bird and the Bee just released the fitting video for their new single, “Los Angeles.”

Coming off their latest album, Recreational Love, the smooth, sexy song contains lines like “Touch yourself and get yourself… Come alive, just driving it around… Los Angeles, Los Angeles… Don’t ever let them change you… They don’t know you like I do.”

In the video, lead singer Inara George—who makes up half of the group along with producer/keyboardist Greg Kurstin—drives, strolls, and poses along L.A. spots beloved by locals, like the streets of Chinatown, the palm trees of Echo Park Lake, and the concrete jungle of Bunker Hill (the tourist trap of Hollywood Boulevard makes a cameo, too).
