A Few Ideas On Where to Drive the Limited Edition Z06 Corvette

Chevy is prepping the release of a faster Z06 Corvette, but only 500 models will hit the market this summer. Available in coupe and convertible, the Z06 comes with a 650-horsepower engine (200-HP is considered impressive) that is perfectly suited for racetracks and boulevards. But with a car like this, you don’t want to just be puttering on Wilshire. If you managed to get your hands on a Z06—pricing will be revealed next month—here’s where you should show it off:

-The 405 at midnight, from Sherman Oaks to West L.A. Apple Pan is open until 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights.

-The PCH at sunrise from Santa Monica to Malibu. Zuma Beach is calling.

-Ocean to downtown via Sunset Boulevard on Sunday morning. Take the dog to the leash-less area in Grand Park and let the kiddies frolic at the green space’s new playground.

Annenberg Space for Photography to Grammy Museum via Olympic Boulevard during mid-day on a Wednesday or Thursday. Perfect culture trip for visiting relatives.

-The drive to Vegas on a Saturday morning (leaving no later than 9 a.m.!). If you can’t get early check-in, hit up Border Grill Brunch at Mandalay Bay, which lasts until 3 p.m.

-The 10 to Palm Springs at 10 p.m. on a Friday night. Barring any accidents, we guarantee you’ll get there before the stroke of midnight.
