It’s not the first time—nor will it be the last—someone has called brooding chef Ludo Lefebvre an artist. Hot on the heels of The Santa Monica Museum of Art’s partnership with Wolvesmouth, Beverly Hills-based Gallerie Michael will host an artist and a chef for a unique exhibit.
A release describes the event as “an integrated showcase of fine dining and intricate artwork.” Chef Ludo Lefebvre of Trois Mec and Alexandre Renoir, great grandson of Pierre-Auguste Renoir are called “two classically trained masters.” At the exhibit they will, simultaneously, put on “a live demonstration that will awaken the senses with wonderful tastes and beautiful scenes.”
As of October 19, Alexandre Renoir’s work will be on display at the gallery. While surrounded by the young Renoir’s art, and with him painting live in the background, chef Lefebvre will serve guests a series of small plates.
