The James Beard Foundation Journalism Awards nominees were announced today and Los Angeles Magazine food critic Patric Kuh has been nominated in two categories! (He’s in good company—the L.A. Weekly’s Jonathan Gold is also nominated in two categories, and is being honored as Who’s Who inductee.) We will find out at the May 6 awards ceremony in New York if Patric is the best one. (We sure think so—but we’re a little biased.)
In the meantime, check out the reviews that earned him the Craig Claiborne Distinguished Restaurant Review Award nomination:
Animal Magnetism, April 2010
Making Their Move, May 2010
Time For A Redo?, September 2010
Wish him luck!
