It’s the end of an era. As we mentioned a couple of weeks ago, Neal and Amy Knoll Fraser’s all-day dining destination, BLD, is closing its big corner doors on Beverly Boulevard after 10 syrup-soaked years. Tomorrow (as in, Tuesday) is the last day, and to celebrate, or mourn—we respond to both emotions by binge eating strawberry cream cheese French toast, so it doesn’t really matter—the gang at BLD are throwing an all-day brunch-a-thon from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Want Nutella crêpes for dinner? No problem. Crave blackened catfish sandwiches straight outta bed? That’s weird, man, but this is your party—do what you want. As for those famed blueberry ricotta pancakes, those will be available all day, too, before moving across town to the brunch menu at Fraser’s Redbird. The digs will be a tad fancier (it’s in an actual, like, cathedral), but no change in scenery can change their fluffiness.
