Take-Out Tip of the Day: Tavern and A.O.C. Reopen to Celebrate Moms

They’re back! OG L.A. restaurateurs Suzanne Goin and Caroline Styne have reopened their popular restaurants for takeout and delivery, just in time for Mother’s Day. Tavern and a.o.c. are both offering multi-course Mother’s Day brunches for $39 per person, with mains like a Dungeness crab frittata or their famous Spanish fried chicken.


The holiday aside, the restaurants are also offering ala carte menus of Mediterranean fare Thursday through Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and a.o.c. has elaborate dinners for four as well. Lucques catering is also back in action with three-course Sunday suppers and brunch kits, plus lots of great wines from the vault. All ordering is via Tock.

“My whole team and I have missed the restaurant and cooking for our guests so terribly for these past six weeks,” Goin said in a statement. “We are thrilled to be back.”
