Take-Out Tip of the Day: Bavel and Bestia Are Making Family Meals To-Go

There’s a bright spot on this bleak Tuesday. Beloved restaurants Bestia and Bavel have announced that they will be starting curbside takeout Wednesday.

‪Both of chefs Ori Menashe and Genevieve Gergis’s restaurants will offer family-style diners for two to six people at $49 per person.


‪Menus will change weekly. This week from Bestia, the meal includes house-cured meats, marinated olives, house-made ricotta on grilled bread, a salad of little gems, spinach-ricotta cavatelli with pork sausage and mushrooms, braised short ribs with polenta and salsa verde, and walnut-chocolate chip cookies.

‪At Bavel, the menu include their excellent hummus and pita, marinated olives with sheep’s milk feta, a sprouting broccoli salad, saffron rice cakes, lamb neck shawarma, and spice apple cake with calvados whipped cream.
