Every Sunday, Space 15 Twenty in Hollywood throws a flea market—sort of a natural extension of the Hollywood Farmers Market (it’s right nextdoor). This week’s hosts are our good pals and sometimes-contributors, the Hot Knives. Fresh off the release of their cookbook Salad Daze (seriously, check out the back cover) the vegetarian blogging duo will be doing a demo on how to make their Thanksgiving Pop-Tarts (check the video here), and have curated a great line-up of music and artisanal food folks who will be selling their wares alongside fashion folks, artists, and local vintage clothiers. We’re most excited about Echo Park’s Elf Café, who will be selling jars of its signature harissa for the first time ever, and SaSo, a killer hot sauce we’ve blogged about here before.
Who else has the Hot Knives brought along?
YACHT, the band, selling records and merch like their new Shangria-LA T-Shirt
Plant Food For People, a Highland Park food collective infamous for jackfruit tacos and vegan tamales
From the Robins Nest, home-crafted jams jellies and awesome baguette sandwiches
Complicated Dance Steps a local freak-beat tape label will peddle their wares and mix records
A fall menu of herbal and spice-infused sodas poured by Eden’s Herbals
Echo Park Books, publisher of “Art Time Punks,” an archive of the infamous Part Time Punks club posters
Clara’s Cakes teen baking blogger phenom selling vegan treats
Marriage Records, the Portland-based record label represent the Northwest with a smattering of recent indie releases
