Starbucks Debuts “Franken Frappuccino” for Halloween

This blended monster is cold, sweet, and very, very green

It’s alive! It’s alive! Starbucks’ latest seasonal experiment is here, a horrific Halloween-themed drink that’s been dubbed the “Franken Frappuccino.”

The limited-edition boo-verage, which hit stores this week, combines a green tea Frappuccino with peppermint syrup, white chocolate sauce, java chips and is topped off with whipped cream and mocha drizzle. Just think of it as a frozen Grasshopper…from hell!

Tomorrow trick-or-treaters can get a ghoulishly good deal on a grande Franken Frappuccino, which will cost you only three bones ($3) after 2 p.m. Don’t wait around too long though, this spook-tacular slurper will only be on the menu about as long as it takes you to sing the lyrics to “Monster Mash.”
