What: For the second year in a row Roxana Jullapat, founder of Bakers Will Bake, is hosting a bake sale for a good cause. This year’s proceeds go to the Garden School Foundation, an organization that focuses on building garden-based programs at under-served schools in L.A. Jullapat got the idea for last year’s bake sale while volunteering with the Edible School Yard at Larchmont Charter School. She called up a few fellow bakers and they whipped up an event that raised more than $3,000 in baked good sales (success!).
With more than 20 local bakeries and restaurants participating this year, Bakers Will Bake hopes to double the score with a loftier selection of sweet and savory treats. Participating chefs and restaurants include L.A.’s best pastry chefs and bakers:
