Ricardo Zarate Goes Kosher At La Seine

La Seine, the Beverly Hills restaurant that is equal parts French, Japanese and Kosher, will be hosting a special omakase dinner created by the unlikely pairing of Ricardo Zarate and Le Seine executive chef Alex Resnick. Zarate was recently named 2011 Food and Wine’s Best New Chef for his nouveau-Peruvian downtown restaurant, Mo-Chica. You may remember Rezinck from his time on Top Chef Season 7 where he gained a reputation as the quirky L.A. chef, and he’s been heading up the La Seine kitchen since December. No word on the menu yet, but given these two distinctive chefs (one Peruvian, one French-trained) and the one big limitation (Kosher) we’re sure it will be anything but traditional. Tickets are $120 per person and will likely sell out quickly, as only 10 seats at La Seine’s sushi bar are available.
