République’s Adorable To-Go Window Is Now Open 7 Days a Week

This is excellent news

There are two types of committed brunch-goers: Those who take the sacred ritual so seriously that they’re first in line when the restaurant opens, and those late- risers who are willing to brave the crowds during peak hours (1).

Since several of my friends are morally opposed to getting out of bed before 11 a.m. on Saturdays or Sundays, I’ve become acquainted with the beauty that is République’s To-Go window. Get your spot in line, order a coffee from the window, and suddenly the 40-minute wait for their buttery Brioche French Toast seems 100% doable (2).

And, because we all need some good news, République just announced that they’re opening their To-Go window on weekdays too, so you can get your canele fix every day, from 8 a.m.–3 p.m. (3). Right now the To-Go menu includes cold brew, drip coffee, tea, OJ, grapefruit juice, and pastries, but they’re planning to expand to include more options (including espresso-based drinks).

In the meantime, think of this post as a sign that you need to be consuming more baked goods and and commit to making that happen STAT. I mean, just look at these beauties:

Have 1 meeting at République, come home with 3 pastries.

(1). No value judgment intended
(2). Hangover optional
(3). Yes, you could always walk into the restaurant and order pastries from the counter, but enclosed spaces are for squares.
