After the show, it’s the after-party–and there’s no after-party like one catered by Wolfgang Puck. For the 21st straight year, the celebrity chef will be at the helm of the food-focused Governors Ball, where award-winners, nominees, presenters, and other Hollywood VIPs will head upstairs to feast in the Ray Dolby Ballroom right after the February 22 Oscars ceremony.
Because this is Puck, there will be more than two dozen savory options–including baked potatoes with caviar, chicken pot pie with black truffles, and a gorgeous lobster salad with artichokes, asparagus, fava beans, baby beets, and citrus vinaigrette–made from local, organic, and sustainable ingredients, and nearly as many desserts. And that’s just what’s listed on the official menu. There’s also an off-the-menu item that should be popular with the film-industry crowd: a vegan truffle risotto.
Here’s a first look at what Puck will be serving. It looks like enough to make diet-conscious celebrities have a cheat day, whether they’re basking in the thrill of victory or erasing their sorrows with mounds of shellfish.
