The team that brought L.A. the Saved by the Bell-themed pop-up diner Saved by the Max and All That inspired pop-up diner Good Burger is returning with a sendup of the Peach Pit, the gang’s hangout from the ‘90s hit show Beverly Hills, 90210.
Peach Pit, located in a formerly vacant diner on Melrose, sold out its initial two-day weekend run as part of a promotion for Fox’s bananas meta-reboot, BH90210, and because of its success, it’s coming back to stay—at least through the end of September.
“The chance to bring something as beloved as Beverly Hills, 90210 to life has always been a dream for me,” Derek Berry, one of the concept’s partners, says in a press release. “We’ve been really fortunate to develop a reputation for elevating the nostalgic pop-up into something both foodies and show fans alike can clamor for. When the timing aligned for us to help extend the Peach Pit’s inaugural run here in L.A., it was an opportunity that we’d never pass up.”
Peach Pit will serve entrees including, the Mega Burger, Steve’s Grilled Cheese, Brandon (Veggie) SandWalsh, and the Martin House Salad. Sides will include Andrea’s Onion Rings, Taylor Tater Tots and the Martin House Side Salad.
Along with the diner experience, guests will be able to relive all their favorite Peach Pit memories, like when Steve worked at the diner as part of a bet or when Color Me Badd made an appearance and sang for their dinner. The ’90s, baby! Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday.
