After closing its original West Hollywood location earlier this year, historic Industry hangout the Palms is set to officially open in its new Beverly Hills home tomorrow. Despite the updated digs, things haven’t changed much: the menu is still filled with steak and martini-era classics and many of the famous cartoon murals have been transported to the new dining hall, which features leather booths and exposed-beam arched ceilings. VIP diners can also cozy up in the new Reagle Beagle room, a wood-paneled private room in the back with a side entrance.
As a special hush-hush deal, diners who make a reservation tonight will receive a special 50-percent-off soft-opening discount. While you’re there, check the large colorful cartoon mural of Los Angeles in the main dining room. Smack in the middle is a caricature of, you guessed it, the Palms. How meta.
