Chrissy Teigen loves food. She’s a cookbook queen, has an entire website dedicated to recipes, and has not hesitated to share her thoughts on the best restaurants in L.A. So maybe it’s fitting that she would eventually make moves to open a restaurant of her own.
The multi-hyphenate star posted a tweet this afternoon that sparked speculation that she might be staking out a spot on the local food scene sooner rather than later.
“About to go look at a cafe/market space in the heart of Beverly Hills,” she wrote. “It’s very rare for me to be excited about myself (others only!!) but ok I’m excited!!”

Los Angeles has reached out to Teigen’s team for additional information on the project.
The tweet comes on the same day that Teigen released a collaboration line of Chrissy Teigen Cravings Chocolate with local brand Compartés. That collection of Cravings-branded bars includes flavors developed for Teigen, her pop star husband John Legend, and their children Miles and Luna.
Recently, Teigen shared that she’s been dialing back her usual torrent of tweets because she received one particularly high profile follow on the account, @POTUS, the official account of President Biden.
“In order to flourish as me, I must ask you please lord unfollow me,” she posted this week. “I love you!!! It’s not you it’s me!!!!” Biden unfollowed.
