yesterday that Zucca, Patina’s
downtown Italian spot, has closed its doors after 10 years in business. (We registered -5 on the surprise scale.) Now comes word that Innovative Dining Group
(Boa, Delphine, Sushi Roku, Delphine, Katana, etc.) is taking over the Figueroa space for yet another Italian concept—because it did so well there the first time. We kid! There’s no name, menu, or really any details to speak of yet. All we know is that it will be a “contemporary, casual Italian trattoria.” Guesses on the single-word name are welcome in the comments. Our money’s on something herby.
