In case you hadn’t heard, it’s almost Black Friday. Maybe you’ll choose to brave the biggest shopping day of the year, or maybe you’ll stay home. Either way, you can mark the occasion with the Black Friday menu at the Westside’s Hostaria del Piccolo.
The Italian restaurant will be serving a one-day-only selection of dishes featuring black food. Chef Bobo Ivan has dreamed up four deep, dark courses, including Tuscan black kale salad, squid ink tagiolini with black tiger shrimp ragu, black cod with lentils, and black meringue for dessert.
If you have been shopping all day, you’ll probably need a drink, and there’s even a black one of those. The Venerdi Nero is made with fresh muddled blueberries and blackberries, lemon juice and a house-made licorice vodka. You can get one for $13, or if you want a Black Friday deal—and we know you do—they’ll drop the price to $10 if you buy two.
