Whether you bleed Dodger Blue or don’t know the difference between an ERA and RBI,
anyone with an appetite should be excited for tonight’s first-of-the-season exhibition at Dodger Stadium. The game will be the first opportunity for fans to try the brand new “Doyer Dog,” a grilled beef hot dog topped with chili, nacho cheese, chopped tomatoes, onions and jalapenos. This spicy cousin of the classic Dodger Dog is a clever nod to the franchise’s well-established Latino fan base and, despite not being being wrapped in bacon like a proper L.A. street dog, is a great way to silence those seventh-inning hunger pangs.
