The New Beverly Cinema has one delicious line-up tonight, pairing two of food’s finest flicks for a tasty double feature. First up at 7:30 p.m. is the fish-focused recent release, Jiro Dreams of Sushi, which profiles Tokyo sushi master chef Jiro Ono. (See director David Gelb’s L.A. sushi favorites here.)
All that fish and rice should leave you plenty of room for the 9:10 p.m. showing of 1996’s instant foodie classic starring Stanley Tucci and Tony Shalhoub (and Marc Anthony…), Big Night. Because nothing cures a case of the Mondays like a timpano. More information.
