L.A.’s not hurting for doughnut shops, but few turn out elegant versions of the fried dessert. The treats at THE DONUT SNOB go far beyond chocolate twist and plain glazed with flavors such as salted caramel or maple cinnamon with bacon sprinkles (called the Oinker, natch). The business, which was launched in June by pastry enthusiast Janeen Gudelj, offers delivery only at present. Cupcakes, beware.
