Event Alert: Third Annual L.A. Tea Festival

What: Do you know your Oolong from your Rooibos? Or are you an Earl Grey kind of person? Find your favorite tea among the hundreds that will be served at this weekend’s Third Annual International Tea Festival. Not only will there be tea to sip, but you’ll be able to taste food made from tea as an ingredient. Try tea with chocolate or tea with cheese—it complements a wide variety of foods. Here’s your chance to try a selection of the world’s best tea in L.A. and take some home to keep you warm on cool winter nights.

When: Saturday, September 28 and Sunday September 29 from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Where: Japanese American National Museum, 100 N. Central Ave., Downtown.
How: Tickets are just $15 each for general admission. Special tastings and a class on how to taste tea properly are available at an additional cost.
