What: Twenty-five talented chefs from all over the world are coming together for a three-day cooking extravaganza at L.A. Live’s new Chefs’ Tasting Arena and Restaurant Stadium. Roi Choi, David LeFevre, and Alain Passard will wine and dine Angelenos at this, the first Chef Classic (we hope it becomes a tradition!). Each day offers a different experience. Friday, March 21, 7 p.m.: Hosted by Ludo Lefebvre, the French Master’s Dinner highlights the generations of French influence in the culinary world. The gold package—$250 per person—includes a cocktail, canapé, a 2nd or 3rd row seat at Restaurant Stadium, and a five-course dinner paired with French wine. $50 more gets you the diamond package, which puts you front row at the show.
Saturday, March 22, 12 p.m.: The All-Star Lunch celebrates female chefs, with a five-course meal prepared by chefs Dominique Crenn, Nancy Oakes, Nancy Silverton, Naomi Pomeroy, and Waylynn Lucas. The ladies will pair the midday meal with wines made by female winemakers. The gold package—$100 per person—includes the 5-course lunch and a 2nd or 3rd row seat at the cooking show. $25 more upgrades you to the diamond package, which gives you a front row seat.
Saturday, March 22, 7:30 – 10p.m.: Stella Artois and dineLA present Grill and Chill, a small nighttime gathering for guests to watch ten chefs cook over an open flame in the Chefs’ Tasting Arena. The gold package—$100 per person— gets you tastings from all ten chefs and some alcoholic beverages. The diamond package—$150 per person—includes tastings from ten chefs, alcoholic beverages, and a VIP ticket with a 60-minute early access to the Chefs’ Tasting Arena.
Sunday, March 23, 12 – 2:30 p.m.: Melissa’s Produce ends the event with Savor the Season, celebrating farmer’s market produce from Los Angeles. This event welcomes children at additional ticket prices. The gold package—$65 per person— includes tastings from ten chefs and alcoholic beverages. The diamond package—$85 per person—includes tastings from ten chefs, alcoholic beverages, and 60-minute early VIP access to the Chefs’ Tasting Arena.
