Wolfgang Puck’s Beverly Hills institution Spago has a special à la carte menu for the holiday available for curbside pickup Saturday from 4:30 to 8 p.m. Orders must be placed by noon Saturday. Offerings include maple smoked ham, a spring vegetable quiche with Comté cheese, and roasted carrots with peas, orange blossom honey, yogurt, mint, and za’atar. Plus pie—chocolate cream or key lime—for dessert.
Also in Beverly Hills, Lawry’s the Prime Rib has a special Easter menu available for curbside pickup. Family prime rib dinners include au jus, two types of horseradish, creamed spinach, creamed corn, salad, mashed potatoes, and Yorkshire puddings. If you’re solo, it offers have à la carte prime rib dinners as well. Orders have to be placed 24 hours before pickup by calling 310-360-6281.
The acclaimed Fairfax District barbecue joint SLAB near the Grove is offering a meaty feast that feeds at least four (with ample leftovers) for $130. It includes two pounds of brisket, a whole chicken, various sides, and a carrot cake. Orders can be placed all day Saturday and Sunday.
Take things in an Italian direction with L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele in Hollywood. For $60 a person, you get a four-course meal that includes antipasti, house-made ravioli or baked pasta, lamb or roast beef with mashed potatoes and peas, and a sweet Neapolitan pie for dessert. At Playa Provisions, Top Chef fave Brooke Williamson has everything from build-your-own Easter baskets to cinnamon rolls to lamb shank dinners. Plus, there are premixed cocktails. Orders can be phoned in 310-683-5019 for curbside pickup.
In Silver Lake, Maury’s has excellent loose bagels and smoked fish. For $32 you can get a kit with everything you need to build sandwiches at home—a half dozen bagels, smoked salmon, cream cheese, sliced red onions, and capers.
