Eagle Rock Brewery: Bottles and Bashes

We spied something exciting in the to-go case at Eagle Rock Brewery this weekend: bottles of the brewery’s young sour beer, Equinox. This marks only the second time the Glassell Park-based brewery’s suds have been available in bottles (their L.A. Beer Week collaboration with Craftsman, called Unity, was the first). Of course, you could always fill up a growler, but sealed bottles allow for wider distribution and beer aging—two things we likey. Scoop one up for $15 before they run out, limit three per person.

The brewery is also getting ready to celebrate its second anniversary with a mega-sized party on January 28. For $12, attendees receive a commemorative glass and four drink tickets that will entitle the holder to some of the brewery’s special creations on tap in the tasting room and an outdoor beer garden. Beer munchies will be on hand from trucks like the Mandoline Grill and Grill ‘Em All (burger wizards!) Tickets will be for purchase at the door. See you there!
