The Deal: Hold on to your party hats, people! Heirloom L.A., a Best of L.A. winner from 2011, is selling their signature, trademarked lasagna cupcakes for just $1 tonight. Originally priced at $9 a piece, this is a real steal, especially considering the fact that Heirloom L.A. makes all of their pastas from scratch, butchers all of their humanely-raised animals in-house, and makes all of their own sausages and sauces.
The Catch: The dollar price only holds from 5 to 5:30 p.m. tonight at Silverlake Wine, where the Heirloom L.A. crew will be popping up to film Cooking Channel’s Eat Street. From 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m., the price jumps to $5 a plate, but that’s still an incredible deal for a dish that has caused a national craze. If you can, get your paws on one of the slow-braised short rib versions with sweet cippolini onions and Robiola cheese.
The Location: Silverlake Wine, 2395 Glendale Blvd., Silver Lake, 323-662-9024 or silverlakewine.com.
