➻ On its 10 year anniversary, A.O.C. chefs and partners Suzanne Goin and David Letz are set to fête the restaurant this Sunday, November 3 with a dinner in honor of their new cookbook, The A.O.C. Cookbook. The pair is celebrating, not at A.O.C. near Bevelry Hills, but at Hungry Cat Santa Monica (another dinner follows later this month at Hungry Cat Santa Barbara). $60 per person includes four courses like bacon-wrapped dates, black bass with tumeric spiced vegetables, and pork cheeks with polenta. ➻ Rustic Canyon’s chef Jeremy Fox cites Los Gatos-based Manresa chef David Kinch as a mentor and longtime friend. This month, the two inhabit the Rustic Canyon kitchen for one night in celebration of Kinch’s new cookbook, Manresa: An Edible Reflection. The five course menu features split dishes: one from each chef. The Manresa cookbook will be available for purchase at the restaurant the night of the dinner, on Monday, November 11.
