Whether you’ve never tasted caviar in your life or are an avid nibbler of the fancy food, Petrossian welcomes you to Caviar 101 on May 5. If you can’t make it this week, Petrossian offers the class the first Thursday of each month. The bill for a guided tasting of three caviars, two roes, samples of executive chef Giselle Wellman’s caviar-centric dishes, and either a glass of champagne or a flute of vodka comes to $35.
