No, that’s not Echo Park’s latest glo-fi band. It’s the hot new demonstration taking place each day at the O.C. Fair. The San Diego County-based Oasis Camel Dairy has been squeezing camel teat three times daily for Orange County Fairgoers in order to draw attention to the low-fat beverage’s unique nutritional benefits and rich history. And, you know, get milk.
The shows, if you can call them that, are happening at 1:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m., and 5:30 p.m. daily through August 12. If Costa Mesa isn’t on your radar in the next couple of weeks, the the Oasis Camel Dairy, located between the towns of Ramona and Julian, offers tours and camel rides for kids on a regular basis.
