File this one under “about darn time.” Silver Lake’s popular wine bar and small plates operation, Barbrix, has sprung on us their plans to open for brunch service starting tomorrow! That sunny patio just begs for it, doesn’t it? Not to mention the top-notch assortment of bubbly which is prime fuel for a mimosa morning.
Chef Don Dickman has plenty of a.m. friendly dishes planned, including lemon buttermilk pancakes, hanger steak and eggs, and Dungeness crab hash, plus ham-focused charcuterie and sandwiches like a pork banh mi. From here on out, the restaurant will serve brunch every Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
