Vin Scully may not have been the official Dodgers announcer during the 2020 season, but he’s coming back to celebrate the team’s big win. The 92-year-old will narrate the official World Series documentary released by Major League Baseball.
In voicing the hour-long reel of original interviews with players and staff and highlights footage from the series, Scully reprising a role he’s played before, in 1959, 1963, 1965, and 1981.
“It was 32 years since the Dodgers won a World Series and the seventh in the history of the organization, bringing great joy to their fans and the city of Los Angeles in particular,” Scully said in an announcement.
The 2020 World Series documentary will be released on December 8. Pre-orders available now.
