Good morning, Wilco fans! We’ve just learned the band has booked an upcoming performance at the Hollywood Bowl, their first at the venue in nearly a decade. The Grammy Award-winning alt rock group (one of our favorites) will be touring in support of The Whole Love, their September 2011 release, but we hope Jeff Tweedy and the gang play dreamy “Pieholden Suite” off Summerteeth and “At Least That’s What You Said” from A Ghost is Born when they take the outdoor stage September 30. We know what you’re thinking: That’s the same night “Homeland” returns to TV. Yeah, well, that’s what TiVo—and the self-discipline it takes not to check your Twitter feed during live events—is for.
Tickets go on sale Saturday, May 5. Supporting act to be announced.
