Frieze L.A.  February 16 – 19, Santa Monica Airport

One of Los Angeles’ bigger annual art show returns this weekend, now at the Santa Monica Airport. This year, the new location will provide the event with plenty of space for extra exhibitions. Mardi Gras at Farmer’s Market February 18 – 21, Fairfax District

If you’ve ever felt snubbed that Mardi Gras tends to only get the treatment it deserves down in New Orleans, then this is your chance to give some love to the 300-year-old affair. And that love can be given at the original Farmers Market’s annual Mardi Gras celebration, where you can attend a pet parade, a costume contest, or kick back and listen to some live music. Rooftop Cinema Club Ends March 5, Arts District

Cinephiles across Los Angeles, this one is for you. With the beginning of 2023 also comes the start of the outdoor screening season and this year, Rooftop Cinema Club will be showing movies with, of course, the best view in town. Venice Fest February 18 – June 24, Venice

There’s a certain allure of Venice felt nowhere else in L.A. This event is all about celebrating exactly that, as 100 vendors take over Venice Blvd. in the heart of Mar Vista.
