Watch Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne Perform The Lion King in the Crosswalk at Genesee and Beverly

The duo were directed by James Corden

James Corden is known for having his guests do pretty much exactly what you’d want them to do, and this week was no different. The talk show host who once had Adele sing along to Adele in his car had Rose Byrne and Seth Rogen—stars of Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising—perform The Lion King in the crosswalk at Genesee and Beverly.

After a rigorous rehearsal period during which Rogen questioned why they were there (“I think there’s been a mistake”), Byrne was cast as both Timon and Nala, and Rogen landed the coveted part of “scenery, birds, trees, rocks.” Along with a company of about 15, they sang songs including “Hakuna Matata” and “Can You Feel the Love Tonight,” running into the crosswalk during red lights and back to the sidewalk as soon as they turned greenIt’s magical, and it’s inspired.
