Watch James Corden and Co. Stage Phantom of the Opera in an L.A. Crosswalk

Angel of Music sighting!

If there’s a surefire way to get on an Angeleno’s bad side, it’s by needlessly lengthening their commute. Late Late Show host James Corden put himself in the crosshairs of several drivers when he and his theatre company staged songs from Phantom of the Opera in the middle of a busy Fairfax district intersection, complete with costumes, candelabras, and a small boat. The performance was the second installment in Corden’s Crosswalk the Musical bit (the first was Grease). Considering our rep as the hit-and-run capital of the country, we’re happy to report he’s still alive.
