It appears that Meghan Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, have found a way to make some cash to support their post-royal lifestyle. A source at the WME talent agency reports that the they have signed on with the Harry Walker Agency, a speakers bureau purchased by WME in 2019.

Harry Walker Agency is considered the largest and most high-profile speakers bureau in the world. Speakers represented by the group include Bill and Hillary Clinton, Barack and Michelle Obama, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Venus and Serena Williams, Guy Fieri, and dozens of other celebrities, politicians, and business leaders. A top-tier speaker with the group might be paid $400,000 to $500,000 for a single engagement, sharing motivational words to a convention or corporate retreat.

When Markle and Prince Harry decided to formally step away from monarchal duties, they claimed they wanted to be financially self-sustaining. Public funds officially stopped flowing to the couple this spring as part of the ‘Megxit’ arrangement. Given their lavish taste in real estate and high security costs, it makes sense that the now-L.A.-based couple would be looking for a well-paying gig.

Los Angeles attempted to contact Harry Walker Agency late in the day on Tuesday, but did not hear back from the New York-based company prior to publication.
