Radiohead’s New Video Clip Is Just as Cryptic as You Would Expect

Nothing has ever been so precious

Radiohead is back, and their esoteric vision continues to elude the casual listener. After releasing their latest album, A Moon Shaped Pool, earlier this month, the band dropped two music videos — one for the song “Burn the Witch” and another for “Daydreaming.”

Now, they’re slowly teasing a third, and it’s just as mystifying as you might imagine. Directed by Oscar Hudson, the 30-second clip set to the song “The Numbers,” which the band released today, shows a man in a room sweeping up what appear to be shards of broken ceramic.

That is all.

On his website, Hudson writes, “I was asked to interpret a 30-second clip of music from Radiohead’s new album A Moon Shaped Pool. I was obviously delighted to do so.” Watch the clip below.
