The New Beverly Just Announced Its December Schedule and We’re Stoked

Quentin Tarantino’s movie house (finally) returns on December 1

It’s been almost a whole year since Quentin Tarantino’s New Beverly Cinema temporarily shuttered for renovations, and 2018 was a decidedly less fun and campy year in repertory cinema in L.A. as a result.

In June, the theater’s management announced that the theater was set to (finally) reopen in December, and it looks like they’ll make good on that promise. This morning, the theater took to Twitter with its full lineup of 35mm screenings, including a bunch of holiday double features like National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation followed by Scrooged, and Black Christmas and Silent Night, Deadly Night. The reopening night movie? Batman Returns. Tickets aren’t on sale quite yet; the tweet says “later this week.”

The full schedule is also viewable here.

New Beverly Cinema, 7165 Beverly Blvd., Fairfax.
