A couple of weeks ago, the entire Oscars “Class of 2015” convened at the Beverly Hilton for the annual Nominees Luncheon. Per tradition, the nominees sat (and stood) for a portrait along with the golden man himself. In recent years there’s been a lot of discussion about the lack of diversity in the entertainment industry and looking at the class of ’15 the relevance of that argument is striking (in 2012, L.A. Times published an article revealing nearly 94% of Oscar voters to be white). On the plus side, Neil Patrick Harris, who is hosting the award show on Sunday for the first time, looks positively regal in front of the statue looking over him. Someone’s feeling confident!
